Hey, I’m  Julia Morel — though most of my friends just call me M.

To be totally honest, I used to be the queen of takeout. Long hours at work, too tired to cook, and somehow always convincing myself that I’d “start eating better next week.” But then came a doctor’s visit I didn’t expect, some tough conversations with myself, and that stubborn little voice saying, “Maybe it’s time to try something different.”

So I bought an air fryer on a whim. Didn’t even read the instructions.

The first thing I made was a total disaster (burnt sweet potato wedges, if you’re curious), but something clicked. It was fast, it was kind of fun, and I didn’t have to drown everything in oil or rely on frozen meals anymore. Over time, I started swapping out old habits, experimenting with healthier ingredients, and actually liking the food I was making.

This site — mmCookingTime — is just me sharing the kinds of meals I now eat every day. Nothing fancy. No hard-to-pronounce ingredients. Just simple, healthy air fryer recipes for people like me and you: folks trying to eat better, feel better, and still enjoy dinner.

If you’ve ever felt stuck between wanting to be healthier but not wanting to give up flavor (or your sanity), you’re in the right place. I’m not a chef or a nutritionist — just someone who finally found a way to make healthy cooking fit into real life.

Thanks for stopping by — and if you try a recipe, let me know how it goes. I still mess things up sometimes, but hey… that’s half the fun, right?
